I have seen these TV to PC software advertised on the news and just ran into some advertisements on the interenet. It seems too good to be true. Some of these software titles say you can watch 3,000 tv channels on your pc, instead of paying $100 per month to the cable company. These channels can be from channels around the world, and also includes premium and even movie channels.
Best of all there is only a one time fee, usually between $39 and $100 per month.
Does anyone have any advice for me???

Out of my own experience i will tell you not to go for it ..why ? because when i signed up and paid , yes there were tv channels from around the world but they were not live and were just pre recordings , id say there all mostly scams ..it will be a waste of your time

I haven’t tried it, but you have to consider the quality of the sound & picture. The quality is nowhere near the digital signals you get from a digital cable box or satellite box.
Also, you’ll have the same problem with watching regular videos on the web, or when you’re downloading large files (without a download manager): Annoying data transfer hangs.

generally, you pay a one time fee of between $40 – $50 dollars and no monthly fee. You will get lots of channels on your PC, like CNN, Shopping Channels and some movies. But you won’t get the big players like ABC or the movie channels like HBO. If you are still interested, this site reviewed some of the programs out there. Some you should stay away from. WatchOnlineTV seems to be getting good reviews. Good Luck
